The premier sportfishing marina on Costa Rica's Central Pacific — and just minutes up the coast from Jacó.
Los Sueños Marina, in Herradura Bay just north of Jacó, is the best-known sportfishing base in the country. A full-service marina and home to some of Costa Rica's biggest billfish tournaments, it offers something anglers love above all: short runs to the fish. The offshore FADs and blue water are a quick trip out, so you spend your day fishing, not commuting.
What you catch here
Pacific sailfish and blue marlin are the headline acts, with yellowfin tuna, dorado and wahoo filling out an offshore day. Inshore trips along the Herradura and Jacó coast produce roosterfish and snapper.
Getting there
